This should be the goal of all mankind, especially those who call themselves disciples of The Almighty, Yeshua HaMasiach! Christian Brethren, we should all be working for the Kingdom of the Almighty here on earth, by physically doing something for the kingdom of Yeshua! Repent from seeking the pleasure of man.
Many say, “I am saved through the grace of Yeshua, thus I do not need to physically do anything but keep the faith alone because I’m saved by grace!” But if we think & dig deeper by studying the scriptures ourselves, we find many scriptures that mystifies our minds! Paul says it this way to Ecclesia in Ephesus;
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works lest anyone boast” (Ephesians 2:8).
But when we dig deeper into the scriptures, we see that James said it this way;
“You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.” (James 2:24).
So who must we follow & listen to? Because clearly, one man’s doctrine goes against another. My answer to you is what Yeshua HaMasiach taught us to do in Matthew 28:19. When The Almighty taught his Disciples, he sent them out in pairs to physically do his work through faith in him & in his name alone! (Luke 10:1-24).
When we do The work of The Almighty, we should never be doing it to please any man including ourselves! It is important that we never fear any man or the devil; Him who can bring harm or death to the flesh, but we must always fear he who can destroy both flesh & soul in hell! (Matthew 10:28).
So yes, as a Christian, you must physically do the work as a Disciple of Yeshua through faith in his name alone, after all, his name is placed above all names & he is The Almighty!
“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”Revelation 1:8
In conclusion, I believe that both Paul & James were right. Because when we look at what Yeshua taught us his Disciples to do as written in Luke 10:1-24, it clearly says it all. But as we do the work of The Almighty as citizens of his Kingdom here on earth, we must always remember to do what is mentioned in this statement! Stay Blessed in Yeshua’s name.
