This ministry is called Tamiym ‘Emeth Ministries, it was founded by our God, The Almighty & Most High, our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. It was given to me, LouSunia The-Watchman, through revelations from time spent with Jesus Christ. To honor God’s 5th commandment given to Moses (Exodus 20:12). I feel, that I need to pay my respects & honor to both of my father’s; My Heavenly Father & my Earthly Father, by putting in work for this Ministry. I begin this Ministry Dedicated To Rev. SUNIA Take Jr. ASIAFOLASA Noma’aea SUNIA, my beloved earthly father. I do this work from God as a commemoration service for my dad.

Introduction To My Dad, My Inspiration

My Dad was a true man of God who served him faithfully. He inspired me to search for truth on God’s word in the Bible. He inspired me to search for other inspired written scriptures, led by the Holy Spirit of Christ, as I am being led by my teacher. He is my one and only true teacher, my master, who reveals mysteries to me in his own ways, he is Jesus Christ himself! Matthew 23:10.

My dad loved to serve people without recognition. Although in many cases, he didn’t receive much or got rewarded for the things and the people he served. He’d still remain happy and faithful to God. He’d always have a smile on his face as he would joke around. But I knew that he was just being grateful to Jesus for all that he had.

He wasn’t rich in the things of this world, but he was filled with spiritual things of God. The love that he had for everyone especially for my mother was unconditional. But most importantly, his love for Jesus Christ was his top priority. He didn’t have much, but he had just enough to get by in this life. He was content with everything that he was blessed with. When I’d have my regular talks with him, he’d always remind me something important. He would always say, “E taui mai ā e le Atua lo’u manuia.” Which translated in English he meant, that God would bless him in his own ways. And yes indeed, he was filled with blessings from God.

That led me to serve the body of Christ in this humble way. By using all the wisdom & gifts freely given me, to share with his people while my heart and soul remains. While depending on Jesus Christ alone to be my guide & my provider. My Dad also inspired me to diligently seek for truth on the history of the body of Christ. What happened to his body in the early days? I must search for the truth myself, as to why this dissension of the Body of Christ exists. While being led by the Holy Spirit of Christ. What led us to where we are today? “DIVIDED” by many doctrines, subjects, beliefs & so many different denominations.

Before my Dad went home to be with Jesus Christ, he was 61 years old. He comes from the village of Utulei in American Samoa. But was a residence of Kapolei on the Island of Oahu in Hawaii. On December 31st, 2020, my dad was relieved from his worldly duties, and he entered into his heavenly duties set by Jesus Christ. I have arranged this ministry as a memorial in remembrance of my beloved father.

My dad was filled with humility. He would always put others needs before himself. He was filled with a forgiving and a loving heart, but most importantly, he was patient. Jesus led me to this scripture in the Bible; Philippians 2:3-4, he told me, that scripture would clearly explain the characteristics of my dad in a nutshell. And when I read it, it appeared, that the words of my provider were completely true.

“Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.”

History Of Service For God

As I sat alone writing this, thoughts & memories rushed through my mind about my dad, & a memory came to mind. A memory in 1992, when I was living in California with my parents as a child. I saw a huge change from my Dad. It started with me seeing him stop drinking alcohol. Then many times I saw him going to our garage more often than he usually would. He started carrying his bible around, especially when he would go into our garage.

It seemed that he wasn’t like the father that I knew growing up. I also remember a time he broke down in tears, as he was talking to my mother and us. It wasn’t really clear to me what was going on with him at the time. But now that I am older, my spiritual eyes have been opened. Now I clearly see & understand, what my father was going through at that time we were living in California in 1992.

In 1993 our whole family moved to American Samoa with my Dad. He left the Navy services for the US and entered into the Army for the Kingdom of God. He attended school at Kanana Fou Theological Seminary. My dad had a deep calling from God, to be used by him in his own ways. The Holy Spirit of Christ revealed something important to me, right at the time of me writing this part about my dads name. That this is exactly why he was given the name “ĀSIAFOLASA”. Āsia in the Samoan Language means to visit or to be with, Folasa is a Samoan word used for vast seas or oceans or the horizon. God told me, that this is the literal true meaning of his name straight from Jesus. “He is a Vessel who will be sent on a Journey through the Vast Seas. He shall Visit the beloved children of God across the Horizon. To preach the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to his people who love to live a life of rebellion.” He fulfilled that purpose in his life from God in many ways.

He successfully completed his seminary school at Kanana Fou in 1998. In 1999, God blessed him, and he became an ordained pastor. Then later that year, my father, mother, me, and my two younger brothers and sister, traveled to Auckland New Zealand. But my older sister had already moved to live with some of my dad’s family.

Rev. Sunia's Pastor Ordain Ceremony

He was blessed and began his life of service for the Lord Jesus Christ, at the CCCAS in Mangere Auckland New Zealand. He ministered & nurtured that flock of Christ spiritually, for the next eight years of his life. He then went on sabbatical leave in 2007. He along with my mother, younger brother and sister then relocated to Hawaii.

Rev. Sunia's Family

They settled in Hawaii and we were all reunited there with my parents & siblings. God brought our whole family back together again that year 2007. We all moved in together and lived in Waipahu. All 7 of us. My Dad then continued his life of service for Jesus, by accepting a position as an Assistant Pastor for the CCCAS Kanana Fou in Waipahu from 2007-2011.

That very year in 2011, he and my mother moved to the Big Island of Hawaii in Hilo. He accepted a position for missionary work on this Island. They served as a Pastor for Samoan students who attended University of Hawaii in Hilo. They served and nourished that flock of Christ Spiritually until 2016. Then they rested & moved back to the Island of Oahu in 2016. They lived in Ewa Beach that year with my younger sister.

In 2017 they relocated to Kapolei with my younger sister and remained there. Since he moved back from the Big Island of Hawaii, he never gave up his passion to serve God. He continually served as the Assistant Pastor for the CCCAS Kanana Fou Waipahu.

Final Message Preached

As I sat at my parent’s house, I came across my dad’s Bible. Inside, there was a folded piece of paper of his last written sermon that was preached. As I read it, I remembered it well. Because I attended Church that Holy Communion Sunday that this message was delivered. This was also the final Sunday that he preached. I’m glad that I got to attend that last service he led.

On November 1st, 2020, he delivered this final message to the CCCAS Kanana Fou Church in Waipahu. The theme of his final message was, “SUFFERING & HOPE”. It was an interesting message, because he was called home by “THE HOPE” that he preached that Sunday. He left with his Master on New Year’s Eve 2020.

He referenced and emphasized a scripture boldly in his message. He said, “We Have Peace And Hope From God Through Our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:1. He mentioned in his notes, that Paul’s message in Romans 1-4 clearly explains; “There is no one righteous because everyone has sinned.” Romans 3:10. “God is Holy, a sinner cannot get close to God.” You must truly surrender that sin and continue to live a righteous life without going back to your old ways.

Just like Paul did when Jesus called him to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles. He became blind. God saw his heart was truly repenting and saw his suffering. As a result, his sight was restored after 3 days. It was a good message. The other scriptures he used and referred to in his message is found in Romans 5, verses 3, 4 & 6.

“And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; uncertainty creates hope;” “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.”

He served that congregation faithfully until he was called by “HIS HOPE”. His Hope told him, to enter his most prized blessing, on December 31, 2020 at 5:05 PM.

January 23, 2021 would of been my father’s 62nd birthday here on earth. We didn’t celebrate his 62nd birthday, but we did celebrate his first year in heaven with Jesus Christ. Watch this 8 – minute video. Watch it to the end for a special blessing for my father. Special thanks to my wife for my father’s film, for her support in putting this together.

My Final Words Of Remembrance For My Dad

Dad, I miss you so much that it hurts. Our entire family, friends and those who knew you also miss you, especially mom. The many different lessons you have left with us, will reflect and show the love of Christ. And they will always remain within our hearts.  Dad, you’ve fought your great fight valiantly, and you’ve succeeded your race with joy. You’ve kept your “FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST”, until the end of your days. The most important lesson that I’ve gotten from you, is this most important message that I will share with all people; “To Live Is Christ, and To Die Is Gain.” 2 Timothy 4:7 and Philippians 1:21.

Dad, thank you for being a good example for me. Thank you for all that you’ve done for me. My heart aches with so much sorrow, because I miss seeing you in this life. However, I do know, that I will see you again some time soon. When the divine calling comes from my guide, who is Jesus Christ the most high. Dad this Ministry will be as an expression of my love for you. I LOVE YOU DAD.

Love, Your Son:
